Meet the Speaker

Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to help you confidently navigate and make the most of FamilySearch.org. In this class, we’ll explore the various websites owned and maintained by FamilySearch, as well as how to use FamilySearch Labs to access experimental and advanced features. You’ll learn how to identify and merge duplicate profiles, unmerge incorrect merges, and correct parent-child relationship errors when they appear. We’ll also cover how to add an alert to a person’s profile to help prevent repeated mistakes. Whether you’re new to FamilySearch or looking to sharpen your expertise, this interactive session will help you build a more accurate and organized family tree.

About the Program

Pam's love of genealogy began at the age of twelve when she encountered Pedigree & Family Group Sheets for the first time. Currently, she is  encouraging others to add their ancestors’ photos to FamilySearch and Ancestry, helping descendants connect faces to names.

Pam has used FamilySearch from the beginning. Spending many hours using microfilm & microfiche to research beside hunting in courthouses. With the advances to FamilySearch we can now search millions of records from home.
