Meet the Speaker

Jason Felihkatubbe (Choctaw) has been doing genealogical research for over 25 years and his focus is Native American Indian genealogy, with an emphasis on the southeastern peoples–Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee, and Seminole in Indian Territory/Oklahoma. Apart from research, he has offered lectures and classes on Native American Indian genealogy and culture. He is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. He has been involved with the USGenWeb Project for over 16 years.

Collette Fenlason is a professional genealogist, educator, and speaker with more than 25 years of experience in family history research. With a background in education, she brings an approachable, engaging teaching style to her presentations and enjoys helping beginners gain confidence while guiding experienced researchers through challenging brick-wall problems.

Collette specializes in DNA interpretation, adoption research, and unknown parentage cases, and currently serves as President of the Wichita Genealogical Society. She is passionate about promoting thoughtful, ethical genealogy practices and helping others uncover meaningful stories about their ancestors.

Megan Clark Young is a professional genealogist who enjoys helping people discover the stories hidden in old records and family papers. With more than 25 years of experience researching families and early American history, she has a gift for making complex genealogical puzzles understandable and approachable.

Your registration fee includes your entrance to the conference, a syllabus, 2 raffle tickets, light breakfast, and lunch. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the conference. For your comfort, please bring a light jacket or sweater.
