Annual Conference – October 9, 2021 – We're Back!

Do not miss this years WGS Annual Conference with our featured speaker, nationally known Lisa Louise Cooke.

Hughes Metropolitan Complex

Lisa Louise Cooke

Hughes Metropolitan Complex

5015 E. 29th Street N.

Wichita, KS 67220

One of the best features of the Hughes Metropolitan Complex is the location — and being just a mile north of the main Wichita State University Campus is only a small part of that. Close proximity and quick access to I-35 and I-135 makes getting to and from the venue a pain-free experience.

One of the popular feature of the Hughes Metropolitan Complex is the parking. It’s right next to the building — and it’s free. There are 1,100 parking spaces. No steps. No elevators. It doesn’t get much easier. As part of the WSU system, the Metroplex is a first-class venue.

Lisa Louise Cooke found her passion for family history at her grandmother’s knee at the age of 8. She is now the owner of Genealogy Gems, a genealogy and family history multi-media company founded in 2007. She is Producer and Host of the Genealogy Gems Podcast, the popular online genealogy audio show available at www.GenealogyGems.com.

Lisa is the author of a variety of multi-media offerings including the Genealogy Gems Premium website subscription featuring her classes on video and the Genealogy Gems Premium Podcast.

Her podcast brings genealogy news, research strategies, expert interviews and inspiration to genealogists in 75 countries around the world, and recently celebrated 3 million downloads!
