  • February 15, 2025
  • 1:00 PM
  • Advanced Learning Library - Wichita Public Library 711 W 2nd St in Wichita, Kansas 67203 Meeting rooms B & C on the first floor

 About the Program

A panel of authors, all Wichita Genealogical Society members, will share their experiences and practices with publishing their family histories. From writing it in your preferred computer application, to selecting a format you like, to creating files for printing and binding. Tips will be shared on formatting, editing processes, and submitting it for publication. All books will be showcased and are also in the Advanced Learning Library. A Q&A period will let explore their experiences further.

Meet the Panel

The panel includes Jerry Jackson, who has two books published of his family history and one on a country school where he grew up.

Lois Carr just finished and published her family history in 2024, very nicely published.

Linda King’s books, three of them will be showcased and briefly described.

Gary Clark has published several family history books, some focusing on an individual, and one covering a large family.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to preserve your family’s story for generations to come.
